you are interested in playing ice hockey with the Trailblazers, please
come out and join us at practice.
We welcome players with all levels of hockey experience. We have
limited equipment available to outfit novices who want to try the sport
before committing to it. Potential members may attend their first
practice at no cost. After that, players must join the Trailblazers and
pay dues to continue participating, and must also pay ice time costs.
To become an official Trailblazer member:
- You must pay dues of $35.00 per year. You must be a member to
participate in practices, games, and tournaments sponsored or
attended by the Trailblazers.
- You must join USA Hockey. Please go to http://www.usahockeyregistration.com
and sign up under "Ice Players/Coaches of Participating
Programs." Follow the instructions, and at the end you will be
asked to pay $38 online, of which $30 goes to USA Hockey and $8 goes
to the Carolina Amateur Hockey Association, our regional affiliate.
You'll need to print out the confirmation page to present when you
sign up for the Trailblazers (you can also request a mailed version
and/or print additional copies). Please email your form to Nancy

Also, if you are a beginner skater, area rinks offer, learn to skate
and learn to play hockey programs. If you are interested in these
programs, please contact the rinks directly. Please see the Links
page for links to Raleigh area rinks.
You are more than welcome to come visit a practice to see what the
team is all about, just make sure you dress warm! Please see our Schedules
